Protein Recovery

Carbohydrate & WHEY Protein drink mix. Exercise initially weakens the body, depleting energy stores and damaging muscle & connective tissue. Recovery is a re-building process, where your body is re-fuelled and damage to muscle & connective tissue is repaired, making it stronger in the process (adaptation). Improvements in fitness are not made during exercise, but during recovery. Maximising Recovery is crucial to reaching and maintaining the highest level of fitness.

Protein Recovery is a dry powder protein & carbohydrate drink mix designed to maximise recovery after hard exercise. It contains the highest quality bio-available WHEY Protein to build lean muscle; rapidly absorbed carbohydrate to re-energise tired muscles & power the body’s recovery process. Protein Recovery is available in two versions, either mix with milk OR mix with water. The mix with milk flavours make a great tasting "shake" that’s easy to drink, even after hard training when the appetite’s suppressed. The mix with water versions are more suitable for taking to races in warm conditions and for those athletes that are lactose intolerant.
