Cycle Maintenance Course 2024
On the evening of 29th Feb 2024 John M Hanna Cycles Lisburn carried out a maintenance session in conjunction with Cycling Ulster!
Firstly, we would like to thank everyone that attended the course. We hope you learnt something that one day will get you back home in the case of a trail or roadside emergency repair.
Secondly, we would like to thank Cycling Ulster for the opportunity to host the event at our shop in Lisburn.
Over the course of the evening we covered in detail,
- - The M Check, which includes PRE-Ride checks.
- - Degreasing, cleaning, and lubricating the bike.
- - How to remove wheels and refit them.
- - Fixing a puncture or replacing a tyre and tube.
- - Emergency trail and roadside repairs.
Then we had a Q & A session at the end and went over anything a second time for anyone that needed.
We feel the evening was a great success and look forward to doing it again in the future.
