Raleigh ebike range 2019 launch event in the UK.
I had a 5:20am start heading to Nottingham UK for the Raleigh 2019 electric bike launch event. A short flight took us to East Midlands Airport then Raleigh provided a minibus for us to get to the Raleigh headquarters.
We were greeted by the Raleigh marketing team and then we got a coffee and a bun to kick start the day.
Next on the agenda was a product presentation of the new e bike range and a look at the range to see the changes for 2019.
After lunch we headed out on a 5 mile cycle with the Raleigh/Haibike demo team. The spin took us along a gravel tow path to a viaduct near the Raleigh headquarters. I chose to ride the Motus as I feel it will be the key model for the coming months. We also had a ride on the Raleigh Motus Grand Tour around the Velo Park beside the Raleigh warehouse to get a feel for its new Bosch Active Line Plus motor.
The first model in the e bike range is the hugely successful Raleigh Array at £995. This bike has the same spec and price as last year.
Array
The rest of the Raleigh e bike range starts with the Motus followed by the Motus Tour, the Motus Grand Tour and finally the Raleigh Centros.
Below I will go into a bit of detail on the range with some photos from the event and the test ride that we had on the bikes. Full spec and pricing on the entire range will follow in the coming days.
