Job Description

We have an opportunity for a Shop Assistant at John M Hanna Cycles Lisburn.

The role will be full time to 40 hours per week

Shop assistant roles include but are not limited to

• - Customer service: Answering customer questions, providing product knowledge, and helping customers find what they're looking for 
• - Stocking shelves: Receiving, unpacking, and processing orders..
• - Maintaining the store in a clean and tidy state
• - Performing other administrative duties e.g. maintaining the web shop and updating social media.
• - Some small repair jobs e.g. puncture repairs, tyre fitting

Skills/Experience Required

Ideally candidates should have the following skills (training will be given where required):

• - Cytech Level 2 or other proven equivalent
• - Good technical knowledge of bikes, accessories and cycling in general
• - Computer literate 
• - Excellent literacy and communication skills - face to face / on the phone/ emails etc.
• - Personable & approachable
• - Self motivated & proactive, happy to work alone and as part of a team
• - Strong attention to detail
• - Good organisational and time keeping skills
• - Flexibility to adapt to varied tasks where necessary

Must be able to work Saturdays and late nights on Thursday during the Christmas period.
